There are few things more fulfilling than planting a seed and watching it grow and emerge into a full, beautiful bloom. You tend to it, water it, ensuring the soil is ideal for growth and you wait, patiently, for that first sprout to pop through. Success!

You have witnessed the seed you planted come to maturity and flourish.

In life, whether we are aware or not, we are constantly planting seeds throughout our daily interactions with others. It may be just an encouraging smile, or possibly a jovial conversation where laughter ensues and gives us a reprieve (even if for a moment) from the stresses of existence.

It’s easy to forget we are all enduring something, battling demons (whether emotional or physical), facing sickness or financial hardship, resulting in possible despair…

We are all doing our very best to survive.

Have you ever felt as though you have planted seeds in people that you never saw grow? Like feverishly dug down deep, so lovingly and carefully placing the seed in a safe spot, watering and nourishing it…to only never see the slightest sprout?
