When vulnerability is confused with weakness

I had a fascinating conversation with a close friend recently, and it directly involved me and my past relationship failures. I’ve always been known as the life of the party, to be honest. Ready to have a good time, make people laugh and share surface stories while engaging in fun conversations. Why be vulnerable, right? Isn’t vulnerability a sign of weakness?
